I have had a small folder on my desktop where I have put a few random pictures that I had wanted to put up in my blog, but haven’t gotten around to it quite yet! So here they are!
The ones that will catch your eye and you will wonder what they are from, are the last two I am sure J Those two pictures were from our Rotary Pub Crawl. Pub crawls are huge here, as well as dressing up! It is perfectly normal to see all kinds of costumes and outfits if you head downtown on the weekends, or even in the week sometimes! For those of you who may not know what a ‘pub crawl’ is, it is where you have a set agenda for the night of different bars you are going to, and along the way at these certain bars, special drink deals have been arranged for our group. The theme of our particular pub crawl was nightmares, as you may have guessed. I did not have any time to try and come up with something interesting sooo some white face make up, fake blood, dark eyes, and ripped up shirt was as much as I could come up with at the time! It was a pretty good time and I got to meet a lot of other people who live at Rotary. There were some set rules for the night you had to follow which were kind of embarrassing at times, but who cares! For example: There was a girl who was ‘in charge’ you could say, she had a whistle haha. When she blew it once- internationals hit the floor, twice- Australians hit the floor, three times- everyone hit the floor. If you failed to do so and were caught, you had to skull your drink(chug it). Overall, it was a pretty good time and I can say I have been on an Australian pub crawl. Woo!
